DescriptionSilhouettes was originally choreographed for Maximum Dance Company, a troupe founded in 1996 by co-directors/choreographers David Palmer and Yanis Pikieris, who had been principal dancers with Miami City Ballet; Palmer and Pikieris were also the dancers in the premiere performance of Silhouettes, in June 1999. The Dance Group premiere was at Jacob's Pillow in August 1999, with Joe Bowie and Matthew Rose.
